I have students who were missed in our school’s November data transmission, so they did not receive their application access codes (PINs). How can I get access codes for them?
You can get access codes for them in COLS, using the “Create a PIN” option under “PINs”. This option allows you to provide the OUAC with each student’s:
- Secondary School Student Number (SSSN),
- Ontario Education Number (OEN),
- first and last names and
- date of birth.
You can then immediately view and print their access codes using the “PIN Checklist”.
Or, if your school has opted to receive PINs in a data file, you can download a new file so that the PIN/access codes are saved to each student’s school portal account.
You can enter each student’s academic information in COLS using the Academic Information option. If the student logs in to their application before you have added this information, the Academic Information section will be empty.
