I have several students who were missed in our school’s November data transmission, so they did not receive their application access codes. Can they be provided with access codes for the application?
You can set up these students with access codes for the application by logging in to COLS and selecting the “Create a PIN” option under “PINs”. This option allows you to provide the OUAC with:
- the students’ Secondary School Student Number (SSSN),
- Ontario Education Number (OEN)
- first name, last name and date of birth.
You may then immediately view and print the access codes using the “PIN Checklist”. Or, if your school has opted to receive PINs in a data file, you can download a new file so that the PIN/access codes are saved to the student’s school portal account.
You can enter the students’ academic information in COLS using the Academic Information option. If the students log in to their application before you have added this information, the Academic Information section will have no information.
