Why do the universities collect student data at OUEvents?
As guidance counsellors, you understand the importance of personalized support for each student’s unique path.
Data allows us to effectively communicate with students about their university options and the application process, providing tailored advice to help them navigate admission, explore financial aid opportunities and stay on top of crucial deadlines.
The information we gather enables us to offer targeted guidance on programs of interest and upcoming university events, such as open houses and information sessions.
Privacy and data protection are important concerns, and we adhere strictly to the applicable privacy statement and Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). When students share their data with us, it falls under the umbrella of our commitment to safeguarding their privacy.
Your collaboration is invaluable to us. As important partners, you play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of the data we collect. Your assistance allows us to continually refine our programs and services, to better serve the needs of prospective students and our broader community.
